Snow Everywhere!

As Salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullaah

Alhamdulillaah I have the next two days off from work so I don't have to drive in this mess. However Abi did, so big sis and I tightened up the Timbs, grabbed a couple of shovels and got to work. Although it was not snowing anymore, it still felt like a blizzard because of the heavy winds. We did a good enough job to see Abi off to work, leaving the driveway with no problem. While I was shoveling, I made sure to put some extra snow around my car to make sure that I don't go anywhere, lol.

It was reported that our damage was a whopping 24 inches maa shaa Allaah!...and it looks like it too.

Did the East Coast Storms affect anyone else? Please share in shaa Allaah..

  1. mashaallah I'm sure your Abi appreciated his girls digging him out, you got your cardio for the day. It seems like we got that here too the snow is up to my four year old's shoulders. One of our neighbors showed up with a snowblower and helped us out but it still took a long time

  2. Yes ma'am...we both skipped the treadmill this morning, lol.
Maa shaa Allaah, it's great that your neighbors helped out. While we were out, everyone was falling all over the place so much that it was like every man for himself, the wind was so strong. Now all I hear are engines gunning and tires spinning from people trying to get there cars out. I don't really have a problem driving in the snow, but I am always afraid to gun my car out of the parking spot. I'm afraid it's going to shoot off somewhere once its free.
