As Salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullaah. Inshaa Allaah, is anyone going to attend the "The Proper Ettiquettes of a Muslimah" lecture tomorrow in Germantown? This will give us a chance to meet each other sisters (smiles). May Allaah Subhaana wa ta ala allow us to benefit from it, Aameen.

ReplyDeleteAll of us live so far from eachother. In sha Allah when I have my lil sisters 1day retreat, maybe you can come up Anisa? I am kicking all the men out to the masjid after they get fed,lol. So abika & ummx's son, along with any other bro.lamb who comes along as a mahrm will have to eat and roll to the masjid with my hubby,lol. Or they can go to a nearby park if its not too cold. The park is really pretty in fall, maa shaa Allah.

ReplyDeletethe weather up here is so weird we had like 65 degrees one december,lol. You know I have no problem with cooking out in any weather,lol. Put some chicken,burgers & lamb on the grill, makes som nice sides, and if its really nice we can lay a blanket it on the yard and sit outside & eat. Or maybe the men can go outside & eat?? whichever I just want a cookout with some good peoples,lol.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what's up there other than the lions, tigers and bears (oh my!), but maybe they can go bowling or some other type of sporty thinga-ma-jig as well as a mini halaqa in the masjid inshaa Allaah

Anything for a cook out, huh? lol Freecycle... fire pit or chimnea or whatever those outdoor fire things is called for warmth.
