Excellent hadith, akhti! I really used to wonder why so many look around, etc in salah, and even before I knew of this hadith (yes, I was slow in learning ahadith), I used to think to myself..."Do they not remember that this is an act of complete submission to Allah?" Very good post and excellent reminder for those who rush salah and let their eyes wonder, wajazaki Allahu khairan!
Good reminder maa shaa Allaah... when the imam is getting ready to begin leading the salah and reminds the believers... shoulder to shoulder, heel to heel, straighten your lines.... he should include "and steady your eyes"
So true, ummx akhti... in sha' Allah, if I am 'imam in jama'ah again I will try to remember to say this (that is if it is permissible, and no considered bid'ah) Barak Allahu fikum
