Delaying the Isha Prayer

Delaying the Isha Prayer
Question:

What is the ruling on delaying the Isha prayer until a late hour?
Answer:

It is better for the Isha prayer to be delayed to its later time. The more it is delayed, the better, unless it be for a man because if a man delays it, he misses the congregational prayer, and it is not permissible for him to delay it and miss the congregational prayer. As for the women in their houses, the more they delay the Isha prayer, the better it is for them, but they should not delay it past midnight.

Gain Knowledge for the Pleasure of Allaah!

Abu Hurairah (RadiAllaahu anhu) said The Messenger of Allaah (salallaahu alaihe wa sallam) said, " A person who acquires (religious) knowledge, which is (normally) acquired to gain the pleasure of Allaah, (for the sole reason) to secure worldly comforts will not even smell the fragrance of Jannah on the Day of Resurrection (i.e., will not enter Jannah)." Sneezing vs. Yawning

Abu Hurairah (RadiAllaahu anhu) reported: The Prophet (Salallahu alaihe wa sallam) said, "Allaah likes sneezing and dislikes yawning. When any one of you sneezes and says 'Al-hamdu lillaah (praise be to Allaah)', it becomes obligatory upon every Muslim who hears him to respond with 'Yarhamuk-Allaah (may Allaah have mercy on you)'. Yawning is from the shaitan (devil). When one of you feels like yawning, he should restrain it as much as possible, for the devil laughs when one of you yawns." [Al-Bukhari]

In Prostration

Abu Hurairah (Radi Allaahu anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allaah (salallahu alaihe wa sallam) said, " A slave becomes nearest to his Rubb when he is in prostration. So increase supplications in prostrations." [Muslim]

What follows you to your grave?

Anas said that the Prophet (Sal Allaahu alaihe wa sallam) said:

“ The dead person is followed (to his grave) by three: His family, his wealth and his actions. Two of them return and only one remains. His family and wealth return, but his actions remain.”
