The remedy for all these diseases is the love of Allah Almighty, His Messenger (SalAllaahu alaihe wa sallam) and the Pleasures of the Hereafter. Allah's love has many fruits and positive consequences, namely, Allah gives whoever loves contentment and satisfaction and this is one of the graces of Allah in this world. Allah's Messenger (SalAllaahu alaihe wa sallam) said:
" If Allah loves someone He calls Gabriel (the angel) and says: I love so-and-so, so you love him. Gabriel loves him, and calls the other angels in Heaven to love that person. They love him, then his love will be made upon earth, and he becomes loved. And if Allah hates someone He calls Gabriel and says: I hate so-and-so and you hate him. Gabriel hates him and calls the angels in Heaven and says: Allah hates so-and-so, so you all hate him. They all hate him, and his hatred is made upon earth and he becomes hated." (Muslim)

ReplyDeleteNa'am, you would think that someone wealthy would be thankful to Allaah for blessing them but your right, many take the arrogant road instead.
ReplyDeletewa feeki barakAllaah
its so crazy that people who are not even considered middle class, are arrogant. I was talking to on sis. about extravagance and how we should be in this life as a stranger. This chic said "look I know you don't understand because you never had the kind of money I do" i was like "what???? you don't know what money I had or have now. I just know where I'm trying to go. I'd much rather spend my extra money helping those who need it and I'd rather buy beneficial books than $350 purses" Just another ghetto chic trying to be bourgois,la hawla wa la quwata ila bi Lah
ReplyDeletelol, Na'am, I've encountered that type myself. I know what you mean. It's really hard to explain to the sisters who are still into the world that they should detach themselves. They look at you like your crazy, lol. They seem to block their own blessings so to speak cause you can't tell 'em nothing. May Allaah protect us from being in the state, Aameen.
