ReplyDeleteoh Maa shaa Allaah, I think this is a great time for anyone who has not been able to attend the class up to this point to catch up on what's been going on. The reason for this open book test is to make sure that everyone is at the same understanding of what's been taught so far so that we can proceed without getting lost. Which I think is a good idea because I don't know about you but I have to be "handled with care"..lol...and review is good for me maa shaa allaah (smiles).
ReplyDeleteShukran for the questions Nisa, I will try to make a separate study time for this insha Allaah, are there still recorded classes on the ISLAM site? I know the brother covered this at length but I wasn't consistent with the classes. The 9 hrs difference thing lol.
ReplyDeleteAfwan big sis. Na'am, there are some of the recordings at:
ReplyDeletehttp://whatisislam1.multiply.com
I've been listening to some recordings in the mornings when I get off of work around 7-7:30a (3-3:30p your time..i think). We can listen together on the paltalk IM if you want to. Let me know in shaa allaah.
Because I've been to every class, I'm thinking this will be a piece of cake but nope, more like a bunch of cakes :/ and at the beginning I was able to take notes but they changed my days off at work (grrrr) so since they did that, I have been preparing for work while I listen to the class.
We have 5 days left to complete this test, so let's start listening together in the am (pm for you) in shaa allaah ok (smiles).
Jazaki allaahu khairan big sis.
...I'm just noticing you said that your 9 hours difference instead of 8...so it will be 4-4:30p for you in shaa allaah. Hope ya show up (smiles).

ReplyDeleteI tried to put the word out, but to no avail. I have had the room open for the past couple of nights playing the classes for those who wanted to catch up and take notes. I plan on opening the room everynight including tonight 1-20-10. I will open @ 7:30 Insha Allah so as to not interfere with tonight regularly scheduled class. On Thursday 1-21-10 I will go back to opening @ 8pm EST.
Please spread the word for us. Barak Allahu Feekum
wa alaikum salaam wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu
ReplyDeleteMaa shaa Allaah. I saw the room open but knew that it was not class so I didn't go to it (not thinking). Alhamdulillaah wa jazaka Allaahu khairan for doing that, Ameen. I will attend and spread the word in shaa allaah.
